Am 13.10 versuchte ich die Liechtensteinklamm zu besuchen. Die war leider wegen des Schnees gesperrt.
Trotzdem konnte ich ein einzigartiges Fest genießen und noch einen Brauch des Landes kennenlernen.
Die idyllische Umgebung, Peitschen und Schnalzen Vereine von allen Salzburger Gaus, interessante Leute mit Festtracht angezogen, viele Fässer Bier und Würstelstände  im Fließband Tempo, stellte eine herrliche Feststimmung sicher.

It was really a pleasure and a bless  to enjoy this forest of high  aesthetics  as a part of an ascent  to the  Hochkönig in Salzburger Land.
At the end of September the Nature is always so mild and a touch of fog makes everything softer and tenderer. And the colours unnecessary.

As  read  ' Asterix and the Goths'  as a kid, I was always curious how the  area of Carnuntum could possibly today  look. And to see the  'real' Carnuntum forest  in which  the Druid 's conference was held!!
The picturesque  spring landscapes of  Lower Austria were  more than rewarding and the wild boar that I met in the forest just added the nececarry touch of Asterix realism to the  excursion !
Also interesting was the abundance of Roman ruins and the strong presence of Romanesque Architecture.
